The Operations Manager leads, inspires, and motivates supervisors and employees to ensure operational excellence, high employee engagement, and a safe working environment is achieved.
Responsibilities Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices Recruit, train, manage and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance and support Organize, document and develop company processes Formulate strategic and operational objectives Manage budgets and forecasts Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs Find ways to increase quality of customer service Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role Excellent leadership, people management, communication and influencing skills.
Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management Familiarity with business and financial principles Experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Outstanding organizational skills Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operational Management, related field of study or equivalent experience required Master's Degree preferred Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing management roles required.
