Regional Sales Manager

Responsible for developing and increasing sales in support of the strategic business plan by work with a well-established network of seasoned representatives to drive sales efforts, increasing visibility, sales and margin on Patterson-Kelley products.   Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and implement high margin, value-based sales strategies with the representatives to improve mutual market position Manage key accounts and step in as needed to support customers Interact directly with customers and representatives to educate them on our products and answer questions Announce, present, and educate customers and representatives of any new or upcoming products Represent Patterson-Kelley at professional societies and trade shows and provide industry related presentations Evaluate and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume Create new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking Collect relevant competitors' market information to increase sales volume and market share   II. Basic Qualifications Education or Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering or equivalent years of work experience 5 plus years of experience in outside sales of boilers, chillers, HVAC, steam or hydronic equipment III. Preferred Qualifications A. Education or Experience Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering. 10 plus years of experience in a sales management role in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) market and ideally in a manufacturing environment. Strong familiarity with North American commercial level space heating and domestic water heating industries/market. Previous experience with Manufacturer's Representative market path strategies.   A. Other Requirements The ability to read, effectively plan, and understand complex documents. The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. The ability to prepare and monitor annual plans. The ability to forecast and develop sales goals. The ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and/or co- workers. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
